This series is stemmed from the intriguing and confusing phrase, “covered by the blood of Jesus.” I grew up in church and have never been able to fully wrap my head around this concept. I chose to explore the concept through the means of carefully choosing each person, covering them in red, and watching as each one becomes a new “being” or a new creature. Most of the time, the wax feels out the panel and I just watch it seek its place; I have almost no control in what path it will choose.

This work is an abstract representation of the first mi
racle in the Bible when Jesus turned water into wine. I was mainly imagining the transformation of water becoming wine as the liquid was being poured out.

This piece will be auctioned off and also become a wine label. It is for Vino de Suenos.
Check it out and come to the party!

This is the after party ;) I was so happy! My piece sold for more than i expected the wine was delicious! The producer is my long time child hood friend's father Bill at Foxen Winery.
